The Bronx Zoo

On Memorial Day, we took the kids to the Bronx Zoo. It is enormous and absolutely beautiful...the Bronx, who knew? It is ranked 3rd in the world, as far as animal exhibits; and ranked 2nd in the nation as far as 'children's zoo'. It was quite impressive, really. Once again, our kids were unimpressed. One of them actually asked at one point, "So, we're
just going to walk around and look at animals all day?" Now, if the zoo had added some type of video arcade exhibit, now that would have been something the kids could really sink their teeth into. Speaking of sinking teeth, here's a picture of Caleb; in honor of the many caterpillars who are now spinning coccoons in his room. Next is a picture of Peter as a midge fly. Midge flies, as you know are VERY VERY important...just click on the picture and read the sign if you don't know why. I won't bore you with other pictures we took of various animals, etc.
We bought a year pass to the zoo so we can torture our children with many many visits there!

Not bore us with the details?!!!
The midge fly is only THE most important fly in the world if it's the only one that pollinates chocolate plants!!!!!!!!
