ferenced below under the "dessert" post. It was so easy to make and SOOOOOOOOOOOO good. It serves 10-12 and looks really fancy. The hardest part is that you have to make it ahead of time and let it sit in the fridge while the cookies soften up. It is so worth it, though! You can find the recipe here.The only difference is I added maraschino cherries (w/juice) and some chopped nuts. I used walnuts but in retrospect I wish I would've used toasted almonds...
By the way, Peter said it was better than "Six Flags Cake". (Mentioned in an earlier post--Mother's Day, May 13, 2007).
